Leave Emails on Your Server
Microsoft Outlook XP or 2003

Open Microsoft Outlook

Select Tools drop down menu and the E-mail Accounts... item.
If you cannot find that menu option, try hitting Alt-T, then A.

Select View or chagne exisiting e-mail accounts,
then click on the Next > button.

Click on your account and then click on the Change... button
- If the Incoming mail server is not POP3, then you do not need to perform this change.

Click on the More Settings... button to continue.

Click on the Advanced tab.
- For Incoming server, it should say POP3. If it says IMAP, then you do not need to perform this change.
- Check the box labeled Leave a copy of messages on the server
- Check the box labeled Remove from server after

For the number of days, enter 7.

Click on the OK button to save this change.

Click on the Next > button to continue.
- Click on the Finish button to complete this change.
