Or if you prefer this setting, make sure that you configure it to delete messages from your mail server after 7 days. If you leave hundreds or thousands of messages on your mail server your Vemail software could take a long time to process them, especially the first time you Retrieve Email. If you get 0 messages on your first retrieve attempt, then wait 15 minutes and try again.
